Florida Tech Men’s Rowing Podcast

Florida Tech Men's Rowing was established in 1967.

Name: The Redliner Experience is named after the crimson stripes worn in tradition for over 50 years and the extremes to which the oarsmen have pushed themselves.

Purpose: The Redliner Experience existed as a sort of digital town square. The podcast's aim was is to bring awareness to the team, voice the members within it, and allow a platform for this rich and historic culture to surface at.

The Podcast lasted 6 episodes, developed from strictly audio to include video, and was listened to over 1,000 times.

I received praise from teammates who felt they were better able to understand one-another, coaches who prized the capsulation of team history, parents who felt like their kids were in good company, and recruits who wanted to make Melbourne their new home.
